Thompson Water Wells is owned by Santa Fe area native and trained engineer Joseph Roybal and is located in the beautiful Santa Fe Valley of Northern New Mexico. Thompson Water Wells has decades of experience drilling water wells and delivering superior water systems to its customers with seriousness and dedication.
Joseph worked for many years in the petroleum industry with Orla Petco, Inc as vice president of production, responsible for lease acquisition, contract negotiations and lease regulatory compliance -- among many other responsibilities -- giving him a strong base of experience for understanding the complexities of drilling, land-related regulatory and compliance issues as well as experience with customer service and product satisfaction.
Joseph has also been active in the water well drilling business since 1982 both in the field and in the office, being directly responsible for drilling and system implementation as well as maintaining and filing of field reports.
Counting training at the University of New Mexico, New Mexico Highlands University, New Mexico Technical University as well as the Railroad Commission of Texas and the Permian Basin Graduate Center (where he organized one of the largest gatherings of oil drilling engineers and drilling vendors in the country), Joseph has a strong background of education and experience in the fields of petroleum and water drilling and the various regulatory commissions and agencies governing those activities.
